Sophie Diop, Owner
Sophie Diop, 35, was born in Senegal, West Africa. At very young age, she begun braiding african dolls. As she grew up,
her passion was to braid her classmates hair. In 1994, she left her native Senegal to establish first in New York. During
those years, she worked and managed an upscale salon in Long Island. A few years later, she relocated to Houston, before permanently
settling in San Diego. Sophie is married and has two children, Ahmed 15, and Coumba 5.
